Brandi Carlile, David Byrne & T Bone Burnett Among Newly Announced SXSW Keynote & Featured Speakers

South by Southwest announced more keynotes and featured speakers today (Feb. 12). Among those giving keynotes are award-wining producer, musician and songwriter T Bone Burnett and a conversation with Adam Horovitz and Michael Diamond of Beastie Boys with Amazon's Nathan Brackett. Included on the featured speakers lineup are David Byrne, Nile Rodger, and a conversation with Brandi Carlile and Elisabeth Moss.

“We’re fortunate to bring together a diverse group of creative thinkers and leaders to share their perspectives," said Hugh Forrest, chief programming officer, in a statement. "From NASA scientists to entertainment legends Nile Rodgers and T Bone Burnett to influential voices like Stacey Abrams and Kara Swjsher, the breadth and depth of programming at this year's event is what continues to make SXSW unique and indespensible."

Additional keynotes are Former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives John Boehner with Acreage Holdings Chairman and CEO Kevin Murphy, investor and author Roger McNamee with WIRED editor-in-chief Nicholas Thompson and Recode co-founder and editor-at-large Kara Swisher with a special guest.

Also recently announced as featured speakers are political trailblazer Stacy Abrams, Elizabeth Banks, writer and producer Aidy Bryant, professional wrestler Charlotte Flair, Ethan Hawke, Amber Heard, Gweneth Paltrow, TBS and TNT President Kevin Reilly, author Brian Solis, actress and author Padma Lakshmi, WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon, Gemini President Cameron Winklevoss and CEO Tyler Winklevoss.
