David Byrne has anointed his new live EP ‘The Best Live Show of All Time’ after a quote he got from a NME review.

In a statement Bryne said, “An EP of live recordings from THE BEST LIVE SHOW OF ALL TIME! Well, that’s what the British music magazine New Musical Express said… The tour has just come to an end; we played our final show in Adelaide on November 25. The band sounds great and Pete Keppler did an amazing job on the mixes (and our live mix, if you have happened to catch the show in your hometown throughout the year).”

‘The Best Live Show of All Time’ EP will not feature the full show, just six tracks from the show.

All tracks were recorded in London in September.

‘I Zimbra’ (Live from Kings Theatre, September 2018)
‘Every Day Is A Miracle’ (Live from Kings Theatre, September 2018)
‘Everybody’s Coming To My House’ (Live from Kings Theatre, September 2018)
‘This Must Be The Place (Naïve Melody)’ (Live from Kings Theatre, September 2018)
‘Dog’s Mind’ (Live from Kings Theatre, September 2018)
‘Toe Jam’ (Live from Kings Theatre, September 2018)

Noise11 wouldn’t quite go as far as NME calling it the best live show of all time but it was certainly one of the best. The Noise11 review

As for best live show of 2018, I’d rank it number two behind Roger Waters.
