David Byrne Wins Helpmann for Best International Contemporary Concert

Byrne toured Australia in November 2018 with a stunning show that took the live concert performance to a whole new level.
David Byrne won the Helpmann Award with his promoter Frontier Touring Company. The other nominees were Christine and the Queens, Celine Dion and The Killers.
Other contemporary music winners at the Helpmann Awards were Tim Minchin for Best Australian Contemporary Concert and Museum of Old and New Art (Mona) in Tasmania for Best Contemporary Music Festival.
