Hello, all!
My name is Bill Ross and I recently made a film with my brother and David.
In the year leading up to the Contemporary Color shows, the three of us and producer LeeAnn Rossi traveled a lot together to film and meet the color guard teams. Most times David would rent a mini van and come pick us up to head off on some road trip to a small town in the northeast. At the very start our seating arrangement was set: T and LeeAnn would be in the back navigating and I was asked to sit shotgun and DJ; David would drive. We didn’t know David going into this, so being asked to DJ on that first journey was a bit terrifying. For reasons I don’t remember now, I started off with a Waylon Jennings live album and we immediately bonded over that. On later trips we developed theme days. There were Soul Sundays, Country and Western Wednesdays… Anyway, these are some of the tracks I put on while we were criss-crossing the northeast in 2015.
